Syracuse MBA Experience for Veterans

In 1944, Syracuse University helped lead the charge in the creation of the original G.I. Bill, and since then has continuously provided extensive resources and a top-quality education for veterans. As part of that mission, the Syracuse MBA program addresses the growing career development and employment needs of veterans, all while providing benefits for veterans and a welcoming environment for military families. Syracuse MBA veteran students receive:

An In-Depth Educational Experience

The Syracuse MBA is a two-year, 54-credit hour program filled with elective courses and experiential learning opportunities. Students may choose from one of seven specializations: accounting, business analytics, entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises, finance, marketing, supply chain management and real estate.

Syracuse MBA students take in-depth courses with an emphasis on leadership and innovation, which are taught by our accomplished faculty. Courses include entrepreneurship, economics, data analysis, management information systems, financial accounting, marketing management, supply chain/project management, operations management and more.

To learn about the academic environment at Syracuse University and the resources available for student veterans, our students take part in an orientation program a week prior to the start of their first semester.

For veterans and military personnel who cannot commit to an on-campus MBA program, the Whitman School offers an Master of Business Administration (MBA) online program.

Career Preparation

Syracuse MBA veteran students receive individualized career counseling, networking opportunities with distinguished business professionals, internship and job search assistance and professional development training including interview prep and practice guidance.
