An International Business Institute for New York State Executives

Introducing ExportNY
Where do you want to be headed a year from now? Is your company eyeing -- or already exploring -- markets abroad? Do you envision expanding your sales and supply chains into Europe, Latin America, Asia or the Pacific Rim?

A world of unlimited opportunity is out there - if you know how and where to fulfill your company's potential for success on an international scale.

But how can you get there from here? As a small- or medium-sized business, your resources don't exactly span the globe. Yet if you had access to the international business expertise and training you need - could your company become an effective competitor in the global marketplace? More than ever, it's a question worth asking.

ExportNY has emerged as a resource to help answer this question for you and other eligible small- to medium-sized businesses in upstate New York. ExportNY is an innovative partnership created to offer expert assistance helping company managers enhance their international business skills.

Working with international experts from Syracuse University, the State University of New York at Buffalo, and the State University of New York at Albany, you will gain the expertise and skills that will enable you to identify new markets, expand into new territories, and explore new business potential as well as develop your supply chain.

During the program, participating companies will receive solid international business strategies that maximize company-specific strengths and opportunities. A strategic plan will be tailored to meet each company's needs and be developed in sync with its domestic business plan.

Through this intensive corporate training program -- to be held one day each month for 9 months -- Export NY participants will:
