The South Side Innovation Center (SSIC) is a facility that fosters and supports entrepreneurs and new business development by providing temporary, low-cost infrastructure; business and market evaluation, assessment, and guilance; local and government program support; and personal mentoring. The goal of the SSIC is to help entrepreneurs establish new businesses that are profitable and sustainable, and which will "graduate" in to their own business offices within three years.
The SSIC is part of the South Side Entrepreneurial Connect Project, a program at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. The SSIC is made possible by Syracuse University and the following partners.
- Rothfeld Family Foundation
- Bank of America
- Dunk & Bright
- Assemblywoman Joan Christensen
- Hewlett Packard
SSIC is a place where dreams and visions become realities.
