Goodman Center

The Goodman Leadership Center provides Whitman undergraduates with diverse opportunities to learn and practice essential leadership skills throughout their educational experiences at SU. The Goodman Center guides students to more effective and productive early career readiness. Student preparation, practice, and ethical awareness are the foci of the Goodman Center activities.

The belief that leadership can be learned drives the vision of the Goodman Center. Accordingly, the Goodman Center:

• Teaches basic leadership skills
• Provides a hands-on approach to delivering situational and role-related techniques and tools
• Provides career focus and clarity of career path throughout students' Whitman experience
• Engages students in leadership learning and practice
• Gives opportunities for deeper student immersion in leadership and skill development

The Goodman Leadership Center is named for Ken Goodman '70 BS, former president and COO, Forest Labs.
