After receiving his PhD, Siva joined the University of Illinois at Chicago faculty and was named an Academic Leadership Fellow during 1999-2000. He now holds the Arthur Tauck Chair and is professor and chair of the Department of Marketing at Lehigh University. Siva has won several awards including the Donald Lehmann Award from the American Marketing Association, the Martin J. Whitman Distinguished PhD Alumni Award from Syracuse University, and the Alpha Kappa Psi Doctoral Dissertation Award from the Academy of Marketing Science.

“I am grateful for the mentoring I received during my doctoral education at Syracuse University,” says Siva. “Even 15 years after graduation, I still draw on Professor S.P. Raj and other Whitman faculty for insights and as sounding boards to inform my thinking. Given the faculty caliber, their support, and the infrastructure, I believe that great things are in store for the PhD program in the Whitman School.”
