I remain active in the Whitman community through my membership and involvement with the Syracuse University Investment Club and Whitman Women in Business. I am also committed to giving back to the local community by volunteering with the Special Olympics of New York.

As members of the Whitman school, students are urged us to give back to the community. I have always enjoyed tutoring/mentoring children, and I am excited about doing it again in Syracuse. The campus also offers many groups and clubs to take part in and I am now a member of Whitman Women in Business and the American Marketing Association.

Currently, I focus most of my time on my academic studies since the time schedule is really tight and requires a lot of concentration. At the same time, some school activities and volunteer programs also enrich my life. I have a great passion for them. Also, finding an internship or job is a current concern because of its irreplaceable position for the MBA career.

At Whitman I am pursuing an MBA with concentrations in both Marketing and Supply Chain Management. Outside of the classroom, I am involved with the Whitman Women in Business Club, the H.H. Franklin Supply Chain Club, and the American Marketing Association. I am also volunteering at the Crouse Children’s Hospital and with a community tutoring program.

Here at Whitman I am a member of the American Marketing Association, which is a national organization, as well as the chapter we have at Syracuse. This club allows me to make connections with companies in the marketing world, while working on projects and networking with others in the field. The American Marketing Association also runs national case competitions that I am excited to take part in this year. Outside of Whitman I enjoy participating in intramural sports at Syracuse with my classmates. We are looking forward to playing softball and volleyball as a fun activity outside of the classroom.

The full time MBA program at Whitman encourages community involvement such as joining and running university organizations, community service and regular attendance of guest lectures.  My diverse class and I all regularly participate in a wide gamete of community activities from volunteering with local community organizations to serving as officers in Syracuse University clubs and student groups.

At Whitman, I am pursuing the Entrepreneurship and Finance concentrations, so that I can go on to working in the financial services industry and start my own business down the road. Outside of class, I have been helping out as a volunteer at the Open Hand Theatre. I also have become a member of the Entrepreneurship and Consultant clubs and am in the process of starting a new club within Whitman with a few classmates.

As an international student, I have a deep understanding about globalization.  I know the future challenge will be global and fiercer while we also have more opportunity. So what I am pursuing at Whitman right now is to learn those economic theories and analytical skills, making myself ready to face the future challenge and opportunity. And outside of the classroom, I hope I can deeply understand this amazing country, make many friends and fit in the community. All in all, I'm not pursuing something exact out of the classroom, I just want my life to be fun and varied.

I am pursuing a MBA with a concentration in Marketing Management. I am an active member of the Whitman Consulting Club, where I serve as a team leader, and the American Marketing Association. Apart from the MBA curriculum, I am a trained Indian classical dancer; and I like reading and traveling.
