Experiential Learning
At Whitman, full-time MBA students build an experiential portfolio through internships, consulting, specialized courses, community engagement, and other practical experiences that make them more valuable in the marketplace. After utilizing planning tools offered through the Whitman Career Center, MBA students identify gaps in their knowledge or skill sets and build a portfolio to fill the gaps and enhance their skills. Students complete a minimum of 6 approved experiential elective credits through at least 2 distinct experiences. These credits are taken within the 18 elective credits that are part of the degree program.
We use the ACT in ACTION to communicate the benefits of our academically rigorous program.
