The South Side Innovation Center (SSIC) in the Whitman School of Management will host a Business Plan Lab to help participants gain an understanding of the fundamentals of the business plan. Templates for several of the critical components of the business plan will be provided as guides and prompts for class members. Participants will be expected to conduct the research necessary for completion of the business plan. By the end of this course, a viable document will emerge.

The purpose of the Army Comptroller Course (ACC) is to provide a basic multi-disciplined financial and resource management (RM) overview to DoD military & civilian personnel newly assigned to the Comptroller Career field and to other personnel without a multi-disciplined background. The course blends current DoD/Army management and the latest in academic management techniques. ACC provides graduates the ability to operate within the current environment and gives them the skills necessary to be more effective and efficient. ACC will take place from 11 January to 04 February with three days spent at Minnowbrook Conference Center.

The Panasci Business Plan Competition is a campus-wide student business plan competition. Any team of students from any school or college at Syracuse University is encouraged to enter. Individuals can also enter. The only requirements are that the team leader be enrolled as a student in an SU program, and that the submissions be the team’s own original work and ideas. Prize money is awarded to the top three teams whose new venture ideas represent the best potential for growth and for attracting outside financing.
