Research Interests
Professor McKelvie’s research concerns how and why new firms grow, including studying how new firms acquire and use new knowledge in developing new products, looking at different types and patterns of growth, and examining the effects of industry characteristics on growth. He teaches courses in entrepreneurship and corporate entrepreneurship and is also interested in strategic management of new firms.
