Research Interests Professor Maritan studies strategy process and her research focuses on how firms build and use capabilities.
Her work has been pulished in leading outlets such as the Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Advances in Strategic Management, and Managerial and Decision Economics.
She serves on the editorial boards of the Stratetgic Management Journal and the Journal of Management. Before entering academia, she worked as a mining engineer and as a corporate banker in North America and Europe.
