American Marketing Association
The AMA is an international professional body, consisting of students and industry representatives whose purpose is to promote interest in the practice and study of marketing. The organization, through its activities, strives for the professional development of its members and for the application of science and ethics in the marketing discipline.
The activities of the association are geared towards fostering information and knowledge about marketing among its members. These include interaction with industry experts, career advancement opportunities with leading recruiters, and fun-based events aimed at mutual learning and sharing marketing experiences. Joining is also a great way to network with experts in the marketing industry.

APICS
APICS is the Educational Society for Resource Management. It is an international, professional society, representing manufacturing, service, and resource management professionals worldwide. More than 2,000 companies and 70,000 individuals worldwide are members of APICS.
Through educational opportunities, various publications, certification programs, and a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to education and research, APICS keeps its members up-to-date on the ever changing business environment. Major topics include total quality management, global competition, and innovative manufacturing principles and practices.

Beta Alpha Psi
Beta Alpha Psi is a professional service fraternity that includes accounting, finance, and IST majors. Members discuss current issues concerning our professions and also take advantage of networking opportunities. Weekly meetings consist of presentations by and networking with representatives from leading firms, resulting in many of our members getting internships as well as full-time job offers. Our members accomplish a lot, but have fun doing it.

Beta Gamma Sigma
Beta Gamma Sigma, founded in 1913, is a national business honor society whose mission is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business and personal and professional excellence in the practice of business. One of the objectives of the organization is to foster an enduring commitment to the principles and values of honor, integrity, the pursuit of wisdom, and earnestness. Membership is considered the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in an undergraduate or master’s program at an accredited school.

Delta Sigma Pi
Delta Sigma Pi is an international business fraternity that includes all business majors. Members get together weekly to discuss a variety of professional, fundraising, community service and other events to help our members gain valuable leadership, motivational and learning skills.

The E Club
The E Club is dedicated to encouraging the spirit of entrepreneurship among the Syracuse University student body and to supporting the needs of students who are interested in entrepreneurship. The E Club is supported by the Whitman School’s Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises Department and the Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship. E Club members team up with local entrepreneurs and businesses for entrepreneurship projects, host guest speakers throughout the semester, and, most recently, manage revenue for their services. The revenue reciprocates to members by way of either direct payout or for funding for trips and events.

Financial Planning Club
Franklin Student Group
The Franklin Student Group welcomes anyone interested in learning more about supply chain management. Through various field trips and guest speakers throughout the year, the Franklin Student Group provides the opportunity to see supply chain management in action as well as learn more about current events and issues affecting the field. There are a variety of activities that provide for networking opportunities with supply chain professionals from not only the Syracuse area, but also from around the country. We meet two to three times a month. We also work with APICS to bring speakers and tours to the Whitman School.

Investment Club
The Syracuse University Investment Club consists of students in a variety of majors throughout the university that meets weekly to actively trade and discuss stocks. Our portfolio consists of approximately $150,000 of real invested money through Merrill Lynch. We welcome new members at any of our meetings and no prior investment knowledge or experience is required.

MBASA (MBA Student Association)
The MBA Student Association aims to enrich the Syracuse MBA experience through social, cultural, and community oriented activities and events, while also assisting the Whitman School in accomplishing its goals and honoring its core values. The MBASA has been formed to serve the student body it represents and to be an active, positive contributor to the surrounding community.
NABA
Since 1969, the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA) has been the leader in expanding the influence of minority business professionals. NABA represents the interests of minorities participating in the fields of accounting, auditing, business, consulting, finance, and information technology. Our membership ranks include practicing professionals, under-graduates, and graduate students preparing for careers in these areas. Our mission is to address the professional needs of our members and to build leaders that shape the future of the accounting and finance arenas.

PPP
The Peers for Presentable Presentations (PPP) organization ensures students are better prepared for academic and professional communication environments. The PPP organization includes individual and group peer counseling, classroom workshops, and publications that document research on topics of emerging professional communication trends.

Real Estate Club
The Real Estate Club at Syracuse University is the fastest growing club in the Whitman School. The club was established to provide a forum for students with an interest in real estate to lean more about the industry. The areas of real estate that are coved by guest speakers and site visits include: architecture, construction, development, finance, law, management, and sales.

Retail Association
The Retail Association at the Whitman School of Management focuses on building upon student’s classroom knowledge of the retail industry through experiential learning and networking opportunities. With an open membership extended to all Syracuse University students interested in the field, one of the organization’s main goals is to provide students with various networking opportunities both with each other and industry professionals. Professionals in the field, including alumni and friends of Whitman, often participate in club activities holding discussions with members about internship and career opportunities.

Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)
SU's Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization is open to a select group of Syracuse University students with multiple talents who are committed and dedicated to developing community outreach projects that reach SIFE's six educational criteria:

Founded in 1975, SIFE is a global non-profit organization that helps students develop communication skills through learning, practicing, and teaching the principles of free enterprise on their campuses, in their communities, and beyond. SIFE also emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and community outreach. With more than 1,600 participating colleges and universities in 40 countries and territories, SIFE is one of the largest university-based organizations in the world.

Whitman Consulting Club
The Whitman Consulting Club's mission is to nurture, develop, and enhance the skills of our members interested in pursuing a career in consulting. We strive to create future consultants by:
1) Educating members about consulting careers and the consulting industry,

3) Providing members with career preparation and networking opportunities.
