Angela Petrucco Angela Petrucco

Angela Petrucco offers counseling services to MBA students. In addition to assisting students, she frequently travels to cultivate and secure recruiting opportunities for Whitman students. Before joining Whitman, Petrucco most recently served as the Director of Parent Relations in the Office of Institutional Advancement at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She was formerly the Director of the Career Management Center in the Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester, where she spent nine years building and managing career placement programs that led to national recognition for the Simon School. She is a member of the MBA Career Services Council and the National Association of Colleges and Employers. Petrucco holds a master's degree in counseling from the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development at the University of Rochester and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ithaca College.

Kara Primrose

Kristen Kick

Discipline: Marketing Management, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises, Management

Kristen Kick works directly with the marketing, retail management, and supply chain management students in the Whitman School of Management to provide career and professional development support. Kristen also collaborates with the retail management and marketing faculty to nurture corporate relationships that support placements of full-time and internship opportunities. Kristen has over 12 years of experience within Human Resources, most recently as a Corporate Recruiter with Welch Allyn, a medical device manufacturer in Skaneateles, NY. Additionally her background includes positions within the marketing and retail sectors. Kristen is actively involved in both the local and national chapters of Society of Human Resource Management where she holds the distinction of Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Economics from State University of New York at Oswego.

Kara Primrose Kara Primrose

Kara Primrose provides career counseling and professional development support for finance and accounting students in the Whitman School of Management. In addition to student services, Kara works closely with the finance and accounting faculty to cultivate corporate relatioships that support full-time and internship placement. Originally from Syracuse, Kara worked for more than 10 years in the admissions office at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, most recently in the position of associate director of admissions. She also served as admissions regional coordinator for Upstate New York and the Midwestern United States, then moved on to become on-campus events manager, where she coordinated all admissions open houses and scholarship programs. Additionally, Kara was actively involved in the New York State Association for College Admissions Counseling (NYSACAC), where she served as on-site coordinator for the 2007 conference and as a steering committee member for the 2006-2007 conferences. Kara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in English from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

Amber Harris

Amber Harris

Amber Harris creates and implements career education programs for both undergraduate and graduate students within the Whitman community. In addition, Ms. Harris offers career counseling for Whitman undergraduate students. Before joining Whitman, Ms. Harris most recently served as an Admissions Counselor at Ithaca College. She was formerly a family therapist at Cayuga Home for Children where she spent 5 years counseling families with at-risk youth in their homes using an evidenced-based model. She is an active Alumnae Advisor for the NY Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi at Syracuse University. Ms. Harris holds a master's degree in counseling psychology from Lewis & Clark College and a bachelor's degree in psychological sciences from Montana State University.

Discipline: Campus Recruiting

Jeanne Steckel manages the campus recruiting program for the Whitman School of Management. In her role, she interfaces with the corporations recruiting Whitman School students; and provides support to students during their job search efforts. Jeanne has experience in the School of Education dean's office and in the insurance industry. Jeanne joined the Whitman Career Center team in January 2004.

Monica McFall manages the development and implementation of Whitman Career Fairs and national career fair activities. As part of the Retail Management Team, Monica developed and delivered recruiting events focused on students majoring in retail management. She holds a bachelor degree from SUNY Cortland, and is currently pursuing her master's degree in counseling at Syracuse University.

Mary Kate Imbolli
Administrative Specialist

Mary Kate Imbolli is the administrative specialist for the Whitman Career Center. Mary Kate facilitates appointment scheduling for the Whitman Career Center staff, and supports the center's efforts related to campus recruiting activities. Mary Kate managed programming for the graduate programs including the executive program and the iMBA program. She is completing her MBA through the Whitman iMBA program.
