Academics

The Department of Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises oversees an undergraduate major and MBA concentration as well as a master’s program in entrepreneurship and a PhD field of focus. The entrepreneurship faculty—consisting of both high caliber researchers and practicing entrepreneurs—has led the department to national recognitions since its inception in the late 1990s. Most recently, US News ranked both Whitman’s undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship programs as among the best in the nation.
